Now Accepting Volunteer Applications
The Albany Latin Festival Association is planning its 29th annual LATINFEST, a full day family festival that celebrates the contributions of Hispanic culture, is free to the public, and guaranteed to be fun for all.
Every year we seek community-spirited volunteers to help us with various activities throughout the day. In return for your time and energy, you'll get:
- A LATINFEST T-shirt;
- Free parking in Washington Park;
- Complimentary meal
- A Thank You dinner in the fall.
Step 2: Submit the Application to Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Albany LatinFest.
Volunteers will receive a festival T-shirt, a meal, and an invitation to the volunteer appreciation dinner.
We will schedule both in-person and virtual orientation meetings in July and August. We will notify you of the orientation dates via email
Submitting your volunteer application in online in advance is mandatory. Applications WILL NOT be done in person the day of the event. All applicants must be willing to work wherever needed and fully aware that the role may require standing, walking, or lifting objects as needed
Volunteer assignments are determined by the committee based on the festival's needs.
Cell phones must be fully charged. Charging stations are not provided on the Washington Park Parade grounds.
