WANTED:  KIDZONE ENTERTAINERS

The Albany Latin Festival Association (ALFA) is planning its ^th annual LATINFEST in association with the City of Albany Special Events.  This is a full day family festival in celebration of the cultural contributions of Hispanics.  This event is free to the public and guaranteed to be fun day for all.

As the premier Hispanic cultural festival event in the Capital District, the Albany LATINFEST event has had one of the largest attendance rates of any Hispanic festival in upstate New York.  The Albany LATINFEST features local and international Hispanic artists, as well as food and craft vendors representative of the diverse Hispanic cultures from across the state.

The Albany LATINFEST is scheduled for August 25^th this year. We're expecting to attract approximately 10,000 attendees.

In 2008 the LATINFEST introduced the LATINFEST KidZone featuring a variety of fun activities for kids.  Like the Albany Tulip Festival KidZone, the LATINFEST KidZone includes a bouncy bounce, stage, clowns, and other age appropriate activities.

We are currently seeking activities for this year's KidZone for our festival including face painting, clowns, arts & crafts, and stage acts.

If you are interested in being a part of the LATINFEST KidZone, download and fill out a LATINFEST KidZone Application (pdf), and email it to kidzone@albanylatinfest.org by June 30^th.
